Position Description:

The Occupational Therapy Assistant implements occupational therapy programs and provides occupational therapy treatments to clients to facilitate increased independence and functioning under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications:

The Occupational Therapy Assistant must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure, as required by the state of practice. He/she must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program certified by the American Occupational Therapy Association. He/she must be certified and/or eligible for certification by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
