Online Engineer - Diagnostic Cardiology

CITY: Jupiter STATE: Florida COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
*Providing telephone product support to Diagnostic Cardiology customers, field engineers and sales personnel. Maintaining customer service history and internal service records
*Utilizing General Electric's escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues and conducting root cause analysis that will lead to effective problem solving
*Contributing problem, cause and resolution content for a Knowledge Management System.
*Work closely within the team to act and drive productivity and world-class customer satisfaction.
*Maintaining working familiarity with General Electric's Health and Human Services and Environment Health and Safety (EHS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years of experience servicing electronic equipment, equivalent military education or Associates Degree with a minimum of five years experience servicing electronic equipment, or a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of eight years experience servicing electronic equipment
*CompTIA Network+ certification or 2 years experience with network operations, installations & related equipment.
*Willingness to respond to a pager (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) at a minimum of 5 weeks per year as assigned
*Candidate must be willing and able to work with computers including the following applications: Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Windows.
*Ability to lift equipment, weighing up to 60 pounds.
*Candidate must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example: verification of past employment, criminal history and educational background.
*Willingness to travel a maximum of 10%, including overnight stays when needed.
*Willingness to take a drug test.
*Candidate must be fluent in English.
*Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
*Candidate must be willing to work out of an office or home office.

Desired:
*Strong verbal and written communication skills.
*Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification or a high-level of knowledge in Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003 and Windows XP, to include configuration of local and global groups, understanding of group policies, understanding of the practical application of permissions and security to these operating systems.
*Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process.
*Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner. Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment in the Healthcare Industry.
*Experience in a call center environment providing remote product assistance.
