Onsite RN

One of our clients requires a Registered Nurse, qualified and knowledgeable in OSHA occupational injury and illness subject matter, to provide medical services for site personnel. These services are not all inclusive, and pertain to the following task:

• Respond to medical emergencies.

• Provide appropriate treatment of site injuries and illnesses.

• Work with the designated treatment clinics off-site (in cooperation with Owner and Construction Manager.

• Provide input to all “First Reports of Injury??? for all work related incidents.

• Provide a Monthly Medical Report as an addendum to the Monthly Safety Report..

• Support project management and safety advisor with occupational safety related work as requested.

• Assist in claims investigation requirements, supporting broker / carrier / construction manager loss control personnel and programs.

• Manage “Return to Work??? program Insurance requirements.

• Maintain site health statistics IAW requirements.

• Utilize a computer and software programs to keep records, write correspondence, and provide data. Software programs shall include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.

• Provide inventory of medical supplies/equipment needed on site.

• Provide instructions to on-site personnel about handling contaminated waste.


Coordinating Instructions:

• Paramedics / EMT personnel will only be considered if registered nurses are not available for interview.

• On-site Registered Nurse shall be required to work a 45 hour work week…from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

• An office on site shall be provided by Owner.

• Office supplies and office equipment shall be provided by Owner.

• A list of medical supplies and equipment, which need to be replenished, shall be submitted to Owner as needed.

• A telephone, fax machine, Ethernet line, electricity, and potable water shall be provided by Owner.

• On site drug testing is not a requirement.
