Job Description:



The Physical Therapist under the supervision of a Team leader/supervisor, is responsible for:


· Providing direct and indirect services to  specific age groups in the acute care, inpatient and/or outpatient rehabilitation settings.


· Utilizing the rehabilitation process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the physical medicine department.


· Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies, and accrediting bodies.


· May supervise other physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, technical aides and/or student interns.


· Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.





KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:


Demonstration of at least entry level professional competency and commitment to patient oriented practice.


A Desire to learn and upgrade clinical skills
