PATIENT CARE MANAGER

$39.43 - $51.26

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operations of multiple specialty clinics on the Sunnyside Campus in the following designated areas Allergy, Pulmonology, and the Regional Sleep Lab. The ideal candidate will collaborate with physicians and other health care providers in establishing, implementing, and maintaining patient care and quality service standards to meet and/or exceed members and internal client?s expectations. You will also act as a patient advocate resolving patient care issues, serving as a professional role model, and mentoring staff by responding positively to change while supporting colleagues through the change process. As a Patient Care Manager you will be serving as a change agent to facilitate communication and transition that supports the mission of the organization and designing and evaluating processes to improve systems and patient care results across the continuum of care. Additionally, you will have comprehensive operational authority to fiscal accountability, maintaining regulatory standards, maintaining a high level of service, satisfaction, quality and clinical excellence for assigned area(s), program development, managing and developing teams, and ensuring integration with the clinical enterprises.

 

The qualified candidate will have a bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience, in a business, nursing, or health care related field. Strong computer skills are required. Significant experience in both outpatient care and management/leadership roles along with experience managing in a Labor/Management Partnership environment preferred are necessary. A minimum of 5 years of health care experience with a minimum of 3 years of proven supervisory and leadership experience is required. A master's degree and experience in one or more of the designated specialty areas are strongly preferred.
