PBO/CPUP Billing & A/R Services Manager

Primary point of contact in support of their assigned departments. PBO representative responsible for the successful management of department-specific accounts receivable.

Associates Degree or higher in Healthcare or Business Administration and/or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum 7 years experience in progressively responsible healthcare billing operation including minimum 2 years supervisory experience, preferably in an academic setting. Proven experience in a supervisory position in a physician practice desired. Knowledge of ICD9 coding and CPT coding needed. Knowledge of computerized billing systems, specifically IDX preferred. Knowledge of basic PC operation, specifically MS Excel and Access preferred, word processing, spreadsheet and other computerized programs are needed. Must obtain AAHAM certification within the first year in position (either CCAT or CCAM).
