Under the direction and supervision of our Critical Care Intensivist, Attending Surgeon and/or Chief Surgical Resident, you will provide care to all general surgery and surgical subspecialty patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Specific responsibilities include rounds, orders, and the management of critically ill surgical patients. In addition, you will be first call for all patient related issues, oversee invasive lines/monitors, and handle a variety of related duties as assigned. This position includes evening and night shifts, as well as weekends and holidays.

To qualify, you must have a Bachelor?s Degree, NCCPA Certification, and be a graduate of an accredited PA program. BLS/ACLS/PALS, and preferably, prior surgery and/or critical care experience also essential. Ability to multi-task, along with excellent oral/written communication skills will be expected. Bilingual preferred.
