PPO Network Manager

CorVel Corporation currently has an opening for a Senior Level PPO Manager for our Certified Texas Network based in Dallas, TX.  This is a full service, national hub of managed care operations.

This full-time position will be responsible for managing the team that will build-out of our proprietary CorCare network in throughout the state of Texas.  The candidate must be able to effectively negotiate complex, competitive PPO contracts with hospitals, physician groups, and other medical providers.  Must be able to develop specific strategies to contract with the new guidelines of the TX Workers' Compensation guidelines through a team approach.  Will be responsible for maintaining the state certification and managing all state reporting requirements.

Qualified candidates must have extensive working knowledge of the workers' compensation insurance/managed care laws, policies, and procedures in Texas.  Must have demonstrated past experience (3 - 5 years) in effectively contracting with medical providers.  Must be computer literate and have quality analytical skills.  Must be able to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment and be driven by results.  Must have 2 -4 management/supervisory experience.

Bachelor's degree, national certification, or equivalent in business or sales management.
