PRACTICE ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR

Under direction from the Director and Administrator, manages and coordinates the daily operations and the transcription services for the Dermatopathology Division office and provides administrative support to the Director: supervises a staff of 5 clerical employees; assists the Director in maintaining and developing the quality assurance program and laboratory compliance programs and prepares the monthly quality assurance report; oversees the utilization of the CoPath Laboratory Information System; acts as a customer service representative for Dermatopathology and coordinates support activities; records and maintains records of Dematopathology billing and coordinates with the Billing Administrator to ensure accuracy of billing; performs financial activities such as assisting in Divisional budget preparations; prepares confidential correspondence for the Division Chief as necessary; performs other job-related duties as required.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree with at least 3 to 4 years of previous supervisory experience required; excellent computer skills and proficiency with the English language necessary; knowledge of billing/IDX, CoPath and medical terminology a plus; and excellent administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills.
