Practice Management System Trainer

Purpose:



 

Under the leadership of the Manager, Practice I.T. Development & Support, the Practice Management System Trainer provides training of the NextGen? Enterprise Practice Management (EPM) systems. As a member of the Practice IT Development and Support Department, the trainer prepares training materials and conducts training for PriMed and practice site staff.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

1.  Develop training materials for the NextGen? Enterprise Practice Management (EPM) systems.

2.  Collaborate with the Practice Management System Group Lead to schedule training as needed.

3.  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the NextGen? EPM Systems.

4.  Identify opportunities for improving training methods, and procedures; communicate recommendations appropriately.

5.  Generate status and other types of reports relating to the training process as needed.

6.  Collaborate with various customers and suppliers to set and meet service expectations. 

7.  Assist the Provider I.T. Development and Support Manager in planning and budgeting resources for training program.

8.  Other duties as assigned.

 



Skills and Experience Required:

 

1.  College degree or equivalent job experience required. 

2.  Three or more years? Healthcare experience required. 

3.  Three or more years? experience conducting computer application or other technical training in a professional environment required.

4.  Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize multiple tasks, and problem solve under pressure of deadlines and resource constraints required.

5.  Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.

6.  Excellent oral and written communication skills, both technical and business focused, are required.

7.  Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies required.

8.  Knowledge of the NextGen? EPM systems highly desirable.
