Private Collections Specialist

Golden Gate National Senior Care, has an exciting opporunity for a Private Collection Specialist in our Central Billing Office in Pittsburgh located just off of Parkway East in Forest Hills. 

 

You will be responsiblee for monitoring private accounts receivable balances and taking progressive and aggressive collection action to ensure timely payment, within the parameters established by company policies and procedures, and as necessary to achieving reasonable collection goals while providing excellent customer service.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

? High school diploma or G.E.D.

? Minimum of one (1) year experience in private collections, preferably in the health care industry.

? Comprehensive knowledge of escalating collection strategies, effective telephone collection techniques and fundamental collection laws and ethics.

? Dynamic, aggressive, goal-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage confrontational collection calls in a controlled and courteous but resolute manner.

? Professional demeanor and ability to provide excellent customer service.

? Exposure to automated tasking system preferred.

? Ability to work well in a team-oriented, cooperative environment.

? Strong organization and communication skills.

? Basic understanding of Excel and Word, mainframe computer systems and PC LANs.

? Ability to maintain regular attendance.

? Capable of performing the essential duties of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
