Process Engineer-Medical Device-Catheter
Long term contract position (12 months). Process Engineer needed IMMEDIATELY. Job Location: Irwindale, CA Rate: $40.00/hr. + depending on experience. Must have the following experience and qualifications.
1. BSME or related degree and 5 years of Process Engineering experience (Medical Device industry), Tooling/Fixtures design experience.
2. AutoCad and Solidworks experience is a PLUS.
3. Familiar with DOE (design of experiment) PFEMA
4. Must have SPC experience
5. Experience with FDA cGMP guidelines.
6. Must have excellent communication skills, (both verbal and written) and work well with all levels of the orgranization.
7. Familiar with MS Project is preffered.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work as part of a cross functional development team developing and transferring new products from initial concept to production release. The work is for (Catheter) design (Design for Manufacturing) 20%.
Work closely with development engineer on Catheter design.
Develop & qualify new production processes, protocol and reports. (Process and development) fusingm welding, bonding assembly, injection molding, etc. 40%
Develop & qualify production equipment, design tooling, fixtures to support new product development projects and enter documentation into systems. 40%
Write of initial process instructions to be used for Catheter manufacturing.
