As a Professional Educations Specialist, you will provide professional education support to customers (primarily physicians), acting as an in-lab consultant regarding our CARTO 3-D mapping system and procedures. Pivotal to your success will be your ability to establish your credentials quickly and develop effective working relationships with the customers in your territory, with whom you’ll interact on a regular basis. Our current Professional Education Specialists have reputations for possessing an EP expertise on a par with the physicians they support, and we’ll train you to achieve that same status. For example, if you don’t already have NASPE certification, we will help you get it.
 
This position will be based and work in the Houston, Texas area. This position provides the incumbent a company car.

It is preferred that the qualified candidate will have BS in Biological Sciences, Nursing or a related field. A minimum of 3 years clinical experience in cardiac medicine, cardiovascular physiology or electrophysiology is required.

 

Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as solid organizational and time management abilities are required. The qualified candidate will have outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Strong computer skills including proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of Products is desired. Ability to travel up to 30%-40% of the time is required. Ability to lift 60 pounds and ability to wear protective lead in the lab are requirements.

 

Graduate certification in cardiology technology is desired. NASPE certification in cardiac electrophysiology is preferred. (Obtaining NASPE certification in cardiac electrophysiology within 3 years from the date of hire will be required of the incumbent in this role. The company sponsors this process.) Cath lab or EP lab experience both highly desired.
