Project Manager (Healthcare)

FutureHealth, a disease management company located in suburban Hunt Valley, seeks a Project Manager for its operational area focused on disease and maternity management.

 

SUMMARY 

This Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of Nationwide Better Health Integration projects as well as implementing new inter-departmental processes/procedures designed to meet customer demands. The incumbent oversees all aspects of projects, establishes deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.  The Project Manager will coordinate activities across business and functional areas and communicate effectively across the organization. The Project Manager reports to VP of Disease and Maternity Management.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.  Coordinate and drive to successful completion all phases of Better Health Integration, including the following:

?  Disability & Disease Management 

?  Lifestyle & Disability/Disease Management

?  Lifestyle & Total Absence Management (Disability & Absence)

?  Lifestyle, Disease Management & Total Absence Management

?  Lifestyle, Disease Management, Maternity Management, Utilization Management Case Management & Total Absence Management

2.  Coordinates and drives to successful completion new processes and services designed to meet the needs of existing customers

3.  Assesses project impact on workforce.

4.  Develops project plans to identify key issues, problems, approaches, performance metrics and resources required.

5.  Communicate effectively with all levels within the organization, including the business and technical departments.

6.  Establishes team membership and negotiates time commitments and resource allocation.

7.  Provides staff leadership for multi-disciplinary teams.

8.  Acts as liaison, problem solver, and facilitator.

9.  Provides guidance to team on performance and productivity issues.

10.  Actively participates or may lead in analyzing data and developing recommendations and action plans.

11.  Plans and facilitates meetings.

12.  Establishes procedures regarding implementation of project outcome.





QUALIFICATIONS

1.   Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in business and /or administration with education or experience in the healthcare field.

2.  A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a specified technical area;

3.  Minimum 3 years of project management experience; project experience in healthcare preferred.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

1.  Experience with disease management programs preferred.

2.  Demonstrated experience in defining scope and vision, participation in requirements analysis and documentation, project estimation and planning, resource allocation and supervision.

3.  Must be able to work in a time-critical environment and be decisive when faced with complex problems. 

4.  Solid, demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.

5.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

6.  Strong organizational and time management skills.

7.  Must be able to work on/manage multiple tasks concurrently.
