Project Manager - Monitoring Solutions

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
*Own and manage the implementation process for patient monitoring equipment, including sales order review; project planning, kick-off and documentation; resource scheduling and coordination for installation, design, training and GoLive; shipment scheduling; status meetings and issues resolution; system GoLive and project closeout
*Serve as primary liaison between the GE local customer team (LCT) and the core customer team
*Work with the customer and GE LCT to develop a detailed implementation plan; establish guidelines, document project scope, confirm GE/customer responsibilities and obtain buy-in from all appropriate parties
*Utilize various commercial and department-specific information systems, software applications, tools and templates to ensure consistency and quality of project delivery
*Lead and document kick-off, status and project closeout meetings and communicate regular status updates to the customer team and GE LCT
*Proactively resolve and/or escalate issues across functions regarding equipment delivery, installation timelines, site readiness, training schedules, material availability, etc., to meet customer commitments and GE targets for orders, sales, revenue and receivables
*Participate in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process to gain product knowledge, help define PM processes and assist in team rollout
*Identify, propose, coordinate and/or participate in development of PM process improvements utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools
*Participate in weekly ITPS Financials Call and manage projects in accordance with key performance metrics
*Develop and maintain working familiarity with GEs Health and Human Services and Environment Health and Safety requirements and adhere strictly to the GE Spirit and Letter integrity policy.
Qualifications/Requirements:
*Minimum 2 years of project management experience, including long-term, multi-phase projects >$1M
*Associate's degree in business, project management or related field and formal, college-level coursework in basic project management
*Ability to work independently and prioritize dynamic workload for multiple, concurrent projects to meet scheduled completion dates, revenue commitments and customer expectations
*Ability to work effectively from a remote home office location with travel up to 50%
*Minimum 2 years experience leading cross-functional teams; demonstrated ability to influence internal and external team members to achieve mutual goals
*Willingness to take a drug test
*Willingness to submit to a background investigation, including for example: verification of past employment, criminal history and educational background.
*Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
*Candidate must have a valid driver's license
*Candidate must be willing and able to work with computers including the following applications: Outlook, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Windows
Desired:
*Minimum 5 years of project management experience, including long-term, multi-phase projects >$1M
*Minimum 2 years experience managing implementation projects for external customers
*Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, project management or related field of study
*Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
*Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical issues in a customer-friendly manner
*Ability to work calmly and effectively in high-stress situations
*Adherence to high ethical, moral and personal values in decisions, communications and actions and when dealing with others
*Flexibility and openness to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or ambiguous situations
*Knowledge/experience in the healthcare industry; knowledge of GE Healthcare patient monitoring products preferred
*Six Sigma certification and/or experience in Lean methodology; ability to identify and implement process improvements and best practices
*Working knowledge of Siebel, Oracle, and/or Microsoft Project
