JOB SUMMARY:
Under indirect supervision analyzes, enters, and logs OccuSource dictionary items, employer profiles & protocols (new & updates) received from internal and external sources and monitors and migrates suspense files as data is received from operations
to ensure timely reimbursement for services billed in accordance with Concentra and Central Billing Office policies and procedures.



MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Employer Profile Set Up
'Enters data from profile forms completed by Operations Staff, Central Business Office and Hierarchical Storage Management
'Enters employer information gathered from both internal and external sources
'Communicates with both internal and external sources for clarification of employer information
'Analyzes information provided
'Inputs employer information into OccuSource
'Updates employer accounts
'Communicates with internal and external sources about incomplete or inaccurate data
'Monitors and removes suspended charges in OccuSource for replication to billing and collection software
'Verifies components are linked to correct billing relationship and are priced correctly
'Adds relationships to rolodex, i.e.: lab, workers compensation insurance
'Processes auto-communication and subscription service set up
'Enforces below market pricing policy

Employer Account Maintenance
'Processes daily updates provided by internal and external sources
'Processes internal updates provided by Central Business Office colleagues
'Processes rolodex and dictionary updates (location, workers compensation, third party administrators, lab, etc.)

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
'High school diploma/some college preferred



JOB RELAVENT EXPERIENCE:
'Minimum of one-year medical data entry experience (occupational health preferred), medical billing courses may take the place of on-the-job experience


DEMONSTRATED JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
'Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
'Demonstrated excellent communication and organizational skills (including telephone etiquette)
'Demonstrated problem solving and ability to handle multiple tasks
