Provider Relations Representative

We are experiencing rapid growth and are in need of a Provider Relations Representative to expand our network of providers. This position will assist in the recruiting, contracting and credentialing of high quality primary and specialty care physicians and ancillary service providers. Facilitates provider orientation and education through routine site visits and reviews. Liaison for providers communicating any and all policy, procedural and coverage changes as well as value-added services. Maintains positive relationships by providing excellent overall customer service and problem resolution. Maintenance of provider database, including data entry of provider information and contract terms.

 

The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of provider relations, recruiting, and contracting experience in the managed care industry. Thorough knowledge of clinical terminology, claims processing, and provider office procedures. Must have excellent presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Solid computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database programs. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
