Facilitate quality improvement processes in the following role:
Plan, coordinate and organize quality improvement programs and activities in support of an assigned area (either a state or product)
Ensure activities meet regulatory requirements of the state or product, and reflects company-wide quality strategies, approaches and work plans
Interact with various parts of the company, as well as government officials and quality improvement organizations
Facilitate improvements in clinical and/or service processes, including application of quality improvement methodology to prioritized projects
Conduct analysis to assist in the prioritization and selection of improvement opportunities, as well as analysis to determine the effectiveness of actions taken
Staff a quality committee and ensures it fulfills its responsibilities as outlined in its charter

Combine your development experience with the following skills:
Bachelor's Degree is required; Master's degree in a health or business field is preferred (completed coursework in statistics is highly desired) Minimum of 5-7 years of health care administration or project management experience
4 years of experience in report preparation, project documentation or policy and procedure writing, including the ability to organize, analyze and review statistical data and present findings
Experience applying process improvement methodology to a project, including familiarity/experience with Six Sigma or Nolan rapid cycle model approach is preferred
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) designation is preferred
Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to identify problems, develop solutions and implement a chosen course of action
Previous experience analyzing processes using tools such as flow charting, pareto's, run and control charts
Ability to develop and accomplish Quality Program activities in support of company-wide strategies, goals and objectives
Demonstrated broad knowledge of health insurance industry and regulations
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Highly effective time management and organizational abilities
Ability to travel
Proficiency with MS Office products, Lotus Notes, and Visio as well as other software as required
