REGISTERED NURSE - O

Current license as a Registered Nurse in Nevada and current CPR certification at the Healthcare Provider Level (BLS) and NRP certifications required. At the minimum, an Associates Degree in Nursing required. Three (3) to five (5) years recent labor and delivery experience, preferably in a family centered setting.

Maintains authority and accountability for decision making relative to the nursing care of patients. Responsible for providing patient care based on the nursing process using assessment, planning, and implementation and evaluation. Responsible for applying hospital and nursing services policies in rendering physical and supportive care and in providing health teaching to patients and families. Interacts with staff, physicians, and other departments to ensure that customer needs are met. Responsible for professional development in self and contribution to the professional growth of others.

Salary commensurate with years of experience in the position/specialty.
