RN - Medical Communications Specialist

Kelly Clinical Research currently has an opening with a specialty pharmaceutical company located in Lake Forest, IL for a Medical Communication Specialist. This is a temporary contract assignment expected to last approximately 4 months. The primary purpose of this position is to satisfy the demand of internal and external customers requiring specific medical/technical information regarding the customer's products.

Responsibilities include:
' Provide adequate, accurate and timely product information on all products so a well-informed and rational decision about product selection or usage may be made by a customer.
' Enter all requests that are unsolicited into a database that will allow for accurate statistics, reports and quick retrieval of inquiries if necessary. Research, obtain, and file information necessary to complete an inquiry.
' Compose standard medical response letters for approval to be placed in database system. Prepare all written article reviews for WLF consideration and approval.
' Review/approve product catalog as requested.

Requirements:
' All applicants must be an RN and have two years of hospital experience or the equivalent.
' Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint.
' Clinical or scientific publication experience and/or medical writing expertise are preferred.
' Regulatory or FDA interaction experience is preferred.
' Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States.
