Recreation Therapist

Morningside House Inc., 386-bed long-term care facility in a residential area in the Bronx is seeking a P/T Recreational Therapist:

Candidate will lead a variety of group therapeutic activity programs on a dementia special care unit. Prior exp. with dementia population, long-term care and/or community based a plus.

Requirements:

? Degree in Recreation or related field or equivalent experience.

? 2-years experience

? Must be creative and patient.

? Knowledge of dementia and therapeutic interventions.

? Comfortable working in small or large groups and with geriatric population. .
