Renal Dietician

Diversified Specialty Institutes (DSI) currently has an opening for a Part-Time Renal Dietician in our North Spokane, Washington hemodialysis clinic.DSI offers competitive pay, an excellent benefit package, a team approach and much more.The position requires the Dietician to:Educate the patient, their family & caregivers.Perform comprehensive nutritional assessment.Formulate long and short term care plans.Provide recommendations on appropriate feeding methods/formula or meal patterns (i.e. IDPN, supplements) specific to ESRD patients.Develop patient nutrition education materials.Review monthly lab work and make recommendations as appropriate in collaboration with patient?s physician.

REQUIREMENTSMinimum of one year clinical dietary experience with preference given to prior renal experience.Ability to travel with valid state driver's license.Ability to use effective written and oral communication.Registered Dietician designation.

The Renal Dietician is an integral member of the collaborative dialysis patient care team!
