Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of a Licensed Respiratory Therapist and/or Physician specializing in Pulmonary Medicine, an anesthesiologist or an otherwise legally authorized Physician, perform various treatments, therapies and invasive and non-invasive procedures. Certificate of completion from a 1 year Respiratory Therapy Program or an Associate's in Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy. (AMA approved). High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate. Is eligible for admission to the State Licensing exam. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification (BCLS). A Limited Permit shall expire one year from the date of issue. Documentation of activities such as exam results or exam date to ensure pursuance of License.
