The Neontal/Pediatric RCP is an individual who is professionally skilled in the application of respiratory care services and must have the ability to work independently.The positions primary area of responsibility will be focused on providing care for the neonatal and the pedicatric patient. Abilities to meet the specific needs of these age groups maybe gained through previoous education, additinal training/course work and experience.

Must have 2 years NICU experience for Level III NICU, NRP and Perinatal/Pediatric speciality is preferred. Must be a graduate from an approved Respiratory Therapy Program. RRT credntial mandatory. Successful completion of the Perinatal/Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist Exam will occur within 12 months of the employees' hire date. Must poseess a current California Respiratory Care Practiontioner license and must have a minimum of 203 years experiences as a RCP in an acute care facility. Currently BCLS, NRP and PALS cards must be maintained.
