JOB SUMMARY:


 

Serves as the primary sales liaison to Sales Representatives.  Services and supports Sales Representatives and Internal Marketing functions as directed by the Sales Management team. Performs other work as required or assigned to achieve department goals.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Delegates and coordinates ‘lead’ assignment Sales Representatives. Receives and processes enrollment forms for Sales staff. Provides administrative support for management, sales representatives, and seminar and health fair coordinators. Maintains and distributes inventory of collateral materials to sales representatives. Fulfills and mails ‘Welcome’ packets to new enrollees. Documents results of marketing campaigns. Compiles daily ‘lead’ / sales activity to generate weekly and monthly reports.



REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Certification/License:


Experience:
Minimum two years experience, preferably in sales environment.  Health insurance and Medicare experience extremely helpful and desired.
 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Knowledge of products, competitors’ products, company sales protocols, regulatory guidelines, and industry trends, or the ability to learn quickly and keep knowledge up to date in these areas. Excellent communication, listening, and influencing skills and ability to use good judgment in all interactions. Good typing and keyboarding skills and proficiency with computers and MS Office, e-mail, and Internet applications.  Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn other business software may be required. Good organization skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to travel as needed within assigned territory and other areas as needed and to meet scheduling requirements, which may include early morning, evenings/nights, and weekends. Capable of transporting self to various work locations; if operating a motor vehicle, must have valid state driver’s license and proof of insurance coverage that meets or exceeds the current state minimum requirements (must be maintained as a condition of employment). Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team to achieve goals.
