JOB SUMMARY: The Sales Supervisor is responsible for all marketing activities of the Medicaid product to interested eligible candidates in the service area, according to the Marketing rules and Guidelines of the Medicaid Contract.



 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:



?  Oversees daily activities of the Sales Team.



?  Conducts Weekly one on one meetings with his/her Sales Reps.



?  Responsible for recruiting and training staff for the Sales Department.



?  Continually monitors activities of health industry competitors and provides information to management.



?  Responsible for motivating and assisting staff in attaining enrollment goals.



?  Prepares reports, charts and other measurement statistics required to monitor and direct the Sales Team.





?  Assist with the development of enrollment and  projections for strategic planning purposes.



?  Performs other duties as assigned.



 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:



?  Bachelor?s degree, or equivalent level of experience.



?  Sales experience in HMO/managed healthcare or insurance industry. 

?  Strong oral and written communication skills.



?  Comprehensive knowledge of Medicaid regulations and programs.



?  Willing to work flexible hours (Early morning, nights & weekends)



?  Willing to travel as necessary.

 PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:



?  Able to lift and carry forms and event materials.



?  May require the lifting of boxes of up to 30 lbs.



?  Required to use personal transportation in order to perform certain functions of the job when required.
