Satellite Manager - Healthcare

Lauren Staffing is in search of an experienced Satellite Manager for a prestigious medical organization in Hartford.

 

In this role, you will work with the Practice Directors and Nursing Director to ensure that the staff in the satellite offices adhere to the same performance standards as the staff in the main office location.  You will provide leadership, direction and administration of operations to ensure accomplishment of practice objectives.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES/ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCreate and implement staffing plan, schedule staff and ensure appropriate staffing level for the satellite office locations.Review and develop job descriptions and performance criteria for staff.  Interview, hire and orient staff, in collaboration with Supervisor and within HR guidelines.Manages all staff including schedules, coverage for time off, hiring, training and performance of staff.Work closely with department managers whose providers provide care in the satellites to ensure processes are consistent with those at the main office.Responsible for meeting benchmarks for the satellite offices.Oversee day-to-day operations of the satellite departments; troubleshoot, problem-solve as needed.  Manage office flow to ensure customer satisfaction and optimal productivity.Act as internal expert regarding communication and MIS systems for satellite locations.Implement protocol for handling customer complaints, track customer satisfaction and proactively address issues.Approve all salary and non-salary expenditures related to satellite operations.Plans and implements the opening of new satellite offices to include, but not limited to, coordination with design staff, ordering of equipment and supplies, and hiring and orientation of new staff.Demonstrate cultural sensitivity in all interactions with patients/families.Demonstrates knowledge of the population-specific differences and needs of patients in appropriate, specific populations from neonate through adolescence and applies them to practice.  Demonstrates cultural sensitivity in all interactions with patients/families and co-workers.Demonstrates support for the mission, values and goals of the organization through behaviors that are consistent with the organization STANDARDS.

EDUCATION  and/or  EXPERIENCE REQUIREDAssociate?s Degree of equivalent experience with 3-5 years experience in a healthcare setting or minimum 5 years experience in a pediatric physician practice.Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.IDX and SMS Experience preferred.
