Principal Responsibilities
PrivacyReport any privacy incidents to Location management and the company?s Privacy Director per established procedures.Ensure Location?s compliance with company?s Privacy Policies, as well as group privacy practices, and Location privacy procedures.Act as privacy resource for Location, including responding to privacy related questions and/or referring to company?s Privacy Director.Act as liaison between Location and company?s Privacy Office.Coordinate communication and resolution of any Location privacy incidents with company?s Privacy Director.Develop and coordinate on-going monitoring of compliance with privacy policies and procedures.Coordinate and direct any requests from public officials and state or federal agencies for access to IIHI through appropriate client channels and company?s Privacy Director.Act as liaison to client for any privacy related issues and facilitate communications as required.
SecurityFacilitate the completion of the project security risk assessment. Address any identified security risk assessment findings and document actions.Develop and maintain project specific security procedures to support employer?s Security Policies and corporate security requirements.Serve as focal point for Project security incident reporting with reporting to client and to SHS as required by contract and SHS policy. Note: Any security incidents that involve Protected Health Information (PHI) must also be reported to the GSG Privacy Director.Ensure Location?s compliance with employer?s Security Policies, as well as corporate security policies, and Project security procedures.Work with Project leadership and staff in the quickest possible remediation of security incidents. Act as security resource for Location, including responding to security-related questions and/or referring to employer?s GSG Security Directors.Coordinate communication and resolution of any Location security incidents with employer?s GSG Security Directors. Note: Any security incidents that involve Protected Health Information (PHI) must also be reported to the GSG Privacy Director.Develop and coordinate on-going monitoring of compliance with security policies and procedures.Act as liaison to client for any security related issues and facilitate communications as required.
Duties
PrivacyFacilitate and respond to questions regarding the protection of IIHIDevelop, distribute, and maintain the Location privacy manualWork with Location managers to ensure unit operating procedures adhere to privacy requirementsCoordinate actions related to privacy incidents with employer?s Government Solutions Privacy Director, Location management, and Human Resources, including, but not limited to, documentation of privacy incidents, investigation of such incidents, and ensuring the consistent application of workforce sanctions in the LocationEvaluate privacy training needs and ensure the provision of all required privacy training the Location workforceCreate Location-specific privacy procedure training materialsDocument privacy training in accordance with policy requirementsEnsure Location has appropriate Business Associate Agreements and Confidentiality Agreements in placeAssignment of privacy related duties as appropriate for the Location
SecurityAddress gaps identified in security risk assessment.Develop project specific security procedures to support employer?s Security Policies and corporate security requirements.Create and maintain project security documentation. Develop, distribute, and maintain the Project security manual.Facilitate and respond to questions regarding the protection of IIHICoordinate actions related to security incidents with employer?s GSG Security Directors, employer?s GSG Privacy Director, Location management, and Human Resources, including, but not limited to, documentation of security incidents and investigation of such incidents.Evaluate security training needs and ensure the provision of all required security training for the Location workforceCreate project-specific security procedure training materials as appropriateDocument security training in accordance with employer?s documentation requirementsCross-train back-up for project Security CoordinatorEnsure that internal control systems are monitored and that appropriate information access levels are maintainedFacilitate periodic security risk analyses and periodic system activity reviews in accordance with employer?s Security policiesAssignment of security related duties as appropriate for the project
