Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is a world renowned organization dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of patient care, research, and education.

Provide administrative support to supervisor and core facility staff at Long Island City . Occasionally will support department head at New York City campus. Process service requests, bill for services provided, maintain a database of users and prepare purchase orders. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including typing and proofreading correspondence. Answer phones and maintain accurate file/document systems. Maintain intranet website. Maintain inventory office supplies. Assist coordinating facility meetings. Arrange for equipment servicing as needed.

BA, secretarial degree or equivalent experience. Typing - 50 WPM. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint Excel), Filemaker Pro, electronic email and web applications. Excellent communication and proofreading skills. Knowledge of scientific terminology would be helpful.

Monday - Friday; 9AM - 5PM
