Vice President, Corporate Provider Relationship
Looking for a VP, Corporate Provider Relationship - amazing growth makes this a great equity opportunity. At this rate of corporate growth, if a person is successful in this role - over the next 12 to 24 months - the opportunities for personal advancement are unlimited.
Goldman Sachs Analyst Report notes how well managed the Company is; a company in the heart of the fastest growing HealthCare area - the Medicaid/Medicare/PDP sector. They state that the Company has done a great job avoiding some of the operations and underwriting pitfalls its competitors have stumbled into. In turn, the Company has guaranteed its financial stability by reinsuring underwriting risks and smoothing the EPS contribution of Part D.
The Vice President, Corporate Provider Relationship, creates and implements a corporate-wide strategy to enhance and strengthen key relationships all the Company?s providers, members, hospitals, account managers and sales teams to improve overall account profitability. Develops and implements nationwide account relationship management model, tools and trainings. Develops and coordinates consistency in communication content and standardized contract templates.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the development of the Company?s overall provider relationships to increase consistency, familiarity, and satisfaction with the Company?s plans and systems. Works closely with regional leadership to streamline processes and strengthen key relationships.
- Setting the Provider Relations strategy for all states to maximize profitability and to manage the cost of medical delivery. Determines the accountability to measure success.
- Developing and implementing tools and training for account servicing and improvement and communications. Develops and implements relationship entry and exit strategies.
- Determining a portfolio of approaches to use to create an effective nationwide contracting strategy. Managing provider contracts by state to streamline content, and to facilitate the configuration and claims processes. Schedules and tracks critical account renewal.
- Promoting high provider satisfaction (survey and action plan), network improvement program, Quality education and other key network and contract initiatives ? build necessary tools and trainings.
- Capturing referral opportunities.
- Enhancing provider representative?s roles in each market.
- Establishing approval authority levels and conducts extensive audits to ensure compliance with company policies and processes.
Qualified candidates must have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from a leading University. Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of eight years of Provider Relations and account management experience.
- Minimum of four years leadership experience in managed care marketing, sales and/or provider relations.
- Demonstrated success in managed care contracting in an industry recognized as a benchmark for account and relationship management.
- Proficiency in analyzing and understanding financial trends in provider contracting.
- Intermediate software proficiency.
The position is based on the U.S. East Coast, South-Atlantic region. Relocation will be provided for the right candidate. An attractive compensation package, which will be commensurate with experience, and will include a base salary, annual target cash bonus, and equity.
