DESCRIPTION
For the past 10 years, FutureHealth has been offering employers and health plans a unique way to control rising healthcare costs, while providing superior care to patients.
FutureHealth Corporation, a leading provider of healthcare services, is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join its rapidly growing office in Hunt Valley, MD.
The Senior Account Executive serves as a key member of the Account Management team, with principle responsibility for account retention and growth. The incumbent reports to a Vice President of Client Services and is the primary contact for all assigned account matters from the time of installation. The Sr. Account Executive develops and maintains an effective relationship with the client.
Responsibilities:
Installation of new customers, which includes: review of services and fees set forth in the contract before releasing for customer review, requisitioning the initial invoice, reviewing and authorizing the account?s requirements. Completes renewals, including analysis of account activity, recommendations for upgrades/changes in services, and prepares documentation for fee changes to review with the Vice President. Prepares and negotiates fee increases, and contract addenda. Serves as the primary contact to the client and meets regularly to review account activity. Oversees the preparation of account reports, quality assurance, special requests, inconsistencies and complaint resolution. Communicates problems and training needs to the Vice President of Account Management. Assures that member data is handled in compliance with FutureHealth policies and procedures, state and federal regulations and URAC standards for confidentiality. Responsible for investigating and resolving issues raised by internal staff and by clients, assessing the need for changes to procedures or policies and following the same to completion. Provides expert input to the Sales and Marketing staff on benefits, program structure, guarantees, member communications and other issues related to program delivery and reporting. Accompanies the Sales and Marketing staff to the final meetings with prospects to advise and capture the program requirements. Participates in sales support of new customers. Primary contact to re-insurers, brokers, account managers or consultants seeking medical or participation information about a member. Responsible for directing the termination process for an account to include the collection of outstanding receivables, confidential transfer of member records and collection of any proprietary materials/property that belongs to FutureHealth. Participates in product development and corporate planning meetings by providing insight from the client, payer, reseller and re-insurer perspectives.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare, or related field is required. Familiarity with Maryland medical insurance environment, laws and regulations. Minimum 3 years account management experience, preferably in the health insurance or health care industry. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Knowledge/background in commercial medical risk and insurance or public programs, such as Medicare or Medicaid. Knowledge of account installation. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent presentation skills. Analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to research and resolve complex and sensitive situations/matters adhering to the policies and procedures of FutureHealth, state and federal regulations, and URAC standards.
