The primary objective of this position is to lead the identification and development of the Voltaren business efforts for the North American OTC Organization. In this position, the Sr. Brand Manager, Voltaren, will help set strategic direction for the business by developing a 5 year business strategy while being responsible for developing marketing plans for launch items. This person will work closely with their Global Head, Market Research, Professional, Pharma, Promotions, PR, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Medical and Finance to drive both launch items and new product pipeline development.

The Sr. Brand Manager, Voltaren, will need to be able to think both strategically as well as tactically, and have a solid understanding of the Rx and OTC regulatory environments in which the product will reside in US and Canada respectively. Broad knowledge of Brand Management, sales and consumer and professional marketing techniques, market research data sources and applications, and new product development.

Good oral, written communication and analytical skills.

5 years consumer package goods, marketing experience required.

Qualifications
Position Requirements & Education

Launch Voltaren Emugel in US and Canada. This requires developing launch plans for each country encompassing a surround sound Rx and OTC marketing plan. Develop a 5 year strategic business plan for Voltaren in US and Canada.
- Develop product pipeline
- Develop product claims
- Conduct required MRD
Partner with Global Head, Clinical, Regulatory

Knowledge of healthcare industry, OTC Categories and Rx/OTC Marketing experience. MBA preferred.


Position requires significant amount of innovation and creativity to champion workable marketing, professional and sales strategies. Also requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, MRD and clinical understanding and partnership abilities. This person should have some Rx background for this role.

Personal computer and Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Lotus Notes efficiency required.

Develop and present regulatory business updates at regular IST meetings
