We’re seeking experienced Project Managers to fill two newly-created positions in our Overland Park office. This highly-visible role offers the chance to utilize your creativity to develop new processes and programs for the Pharmacy Interventions department, as well as to manage highly complex projects. Primary responsibilities include:
Leading operations development
Driving change in the mail order facility
Facilitating business change projects
Training operations staff in the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques
Analyzing/reviewing current processes and making recommendations for improvement initiatives
Developing program/project objectives and strategies, timetables, budgets and resource assessments and requirements
Working with the training and development team on the implementation of Lean and Six Sigma training programs and methodologies
Designing, developing, implementing and tracking process and system enhancements to help meet business objectives
Researching, collecting and analyzing data, literature and statistical studies to identify and evaluate new technologies and resources
Acting as the primary facilitator, coordinator and communicator of the program/project team and as a liaison for internal and external staff and clients



Prior project management experience is required, as is a background in process improvement or working on large-scale business initiatives. Lean Six Sigma Black Belts and/or candidates with experience implementing Lean concepts are highly preferred. Project Management Professional certification is preferred. A background in the field of healthcare would also be helpful. Experience with automated production environments and/or highly regulated environments would be a plus, as would pharmacy experience. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s in a related area preferred.
