Special Care Program Manager - Village Oaks at Conway

The Special Care Program Manager will manage the overall operation of the Special Care Unit in accordance with resident needs, government regulations and Emeritus policies and procedures.  Duties include: conducting resident screenings and family interviews; development and implementation of residents? FlexCare Plans; planning, conducting and implementing staff training and coordinating educational opportunities; coordinating the annual review of the Alzheimer?s Program policy and procedures; coordinating in-service training; assisting in marketing and sales efforts; organizing and leading Resident Aide meetings; and providing written reports.

 

This is a full-time position with some weekends.  Must be available by phone or pager 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Some travel required.

 

Qualified candidates will preferably possess a BA/BS or Master?s degree in a medically, psychologically or socially related gerontology field; have experience working with seniors and a desire to work with people with Special Care Needs.  A basic knowledge of Alzheimer?s Disease and related dementia is required.  Creativity and quality teamwork skills are a must.
