Specialist Product Support Diagnotics & Infant Monitoring

We have an immediate opportunity in our Murrysville, PA territory for:

Specialist Product Support Diagnotics & Infant Monitoring

Responsibilities:
First point of contact with external and internal customers to answer questions beyond the scope of customer service personnel.
Support Respironics Sleep Diagnostic, Infant Management, and Cardiopulmonary Monitoring product lines and be able to troubleshoot networking and PC issues. Also support sales efforts by acting as subject matter expert, assessing customer needs, making recommendations to the customer on proper product use and application.
Participate in the development and delivery of presentations to customers, encompass the principles of product operations, anatomical structures and physiologic processes associated with the application of product in various clinical settings.
Research, record and provide appropriate feedback to customers with regard to product complaints and events associated with the operation of Respironics products.
Inform Product Managers on customer issues related to product utilization and product design.
Act as the primary contact for customers providing product support in an after hours on-call roll on a rotating basis.
Maintain technical expertise with both Respironics products and software and their usage as well as general networking and PC skills.


Requirements:
Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy, Sleep Therapy or equivalent.
Computer science or I.T. Certificates strongly preferred. A solid understanding of industry products will be considered as equivalent to the RT, ST requirement.
Strongest preference for a combination of clinical and computer expertise.
Minimum of 3 years of appropriate respiratory/clinical/customer service experience with industry products required. Knowledge of clinical applications of industry products with a unique understanding of the applications and relationship to approved treatments required. Experience in the medical device industry highly desired.
Professional phone skills and Customer Service Skills highly desired. Experience with use of software including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and SAP highly desired.
Must possess a basic understanding of computer functionality and experience with PC troubleshooting. A demonstrated understanding of computer networks is also required to perform the role.
This position performs in a standard call center environment which includes a scheduled shift rotation and on-call requirement.
Moderate travel (25-30%).
