Speech and Audiology Associate/Pathologist

Various Positions for Speech/Audiology:

 

1.Shift:  PRN (As needed)
This entry level position requires a BA or BS in communication disorders. Candidates must have the ability to 1) conduct infant hearing screening using automated or technician-driven equipment, 2) conduct hearing aid verification using specialized computers, 3) load and maintain software on specific hearing testing equipment, 4) file hearing screening and related documentation, 5) interact professionally with parents and hospital staff, 6) check-in and troubleshoot hearing aids and other assistive listening equipment, and 7) assist audiologists in sound booth testing of infants and young children.

 

2.Shift: PRN (As needed)
Availability between 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday
Location: Pueblo, CO
This position requires a minimum of 2 years experience and a M.A./M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited university.  Candidates must have knowledge in basic communication sciences, normal development and current therapeutic management techniques with pediatric communicatively impaired.  Specific knowledge in neurologically based disorders, multiple handicapping conditions, language-learning disabilities and cognitive rehabilitation preferred.  Use of team and family centered approach essential. Experience in diagnostic evaluations & intervention programs.

 

3. Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm
This position requires a minimum of 1 year experience including strong pediatric diagnostic experience with a variety of disorders and etiologies as well as ability to conduct individual, group and family intervention programs.  Requires a M.A./M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited University program.  CCC-SLP required. Specific knowledge of and clinical experience with neurological based disorders, syndromes, language-learning disabilities and cognitive rehabilitation preferred. Proficiency in Spanish reading, writing and speaking and experience working with multicultural populations needed.  Use of a multidisciplinary, family centered approach essential.  Knowledge of appropriate technology.
