Shift:  8:00 AM -5:00 PM M-F, also On Call Periodically


Title: Epic Orders


Responsibility / Duties : 
Planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of Epic?s Order?s application, a module of TCH?s clinical information system. 
Work with the Orders Team, other application teams, and clinical users to develop the integrated medical record (including interfaces)
Represent clinical areas in process redesign
Attends formal Epic training and obtains certification in applicable Epic applications (if needed)


Must Have:
Bachelor?s degree in patient care or related field preferred.  Non-patient care degree or certification considered if demonstrated experience in healthcare setting
3+ years of clinical and information systems development and/or implementation experience


Desirable:
Experience with inpatient clinical systems including orders and interfaces
Formal degree in clinical informatics or a related field
Epic experience and/or certifications
