Supervisor for Care Givers

Centre for Neuro Skills (CNS) is an experienced and respected resource of rehabilitation programs for acquired brain injury.? With facilities in Irving, Texas, Bakersfield, Encino and Los Angeles, California, CNS offers intensive, cost-effective residential and out-patient rehab for individuals recovering from all types of acquired brain injury.? The CNS community based approach focuses on helping clients regain a normal rhythm of living.? Therapy is designed to foster a return to a typical at-home living situation.

CNS currently has an opening for a Shift Supervisor for our care giver staff.? This position will supervise and direct the Rehabilitation Assistants who are giving direct care and guidance to brain injured clients.? Experience as a supervisor in an Assisted Living or a Group home is required.?The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for conducting rounds in the residential client apartments to monitor, assist, offer advice, and handle questions concerning the client's programs or behavior.? The position will review staff performance and provide relevant training. The Shift Supervisor will identify and address family concerns or refer concerns as required.? Other duties include assisting the care giver (Rehabilitation Assistants) in performing activities of daily living for the clients when needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:Experience as a supervisor in assisted living or group home settingsExperience in which potential administrative and supervisory competence has been demonstratedGood communication skills both verbal and writtenHigh School diploma or GED
