Supply Manager

You will provide analytical and technical supply chain support in the areas of Sales Operations Planning inventory management and logistics.  You will participate and coordinate the Sales  Operations Planning process along with analyzing inventory positions across the supply chain and recommend changes.You will develop monitor and maintain all relavant performance metrics related to Supply Chain effectiveness.  Assist warehouse supervision as required to ensure excellent customer in all aspects of shipping including; Understanding and implementing customers routing guides and compliance requests, samples and promotional literature to the sales force, import/export of raw matericals, intermediates and packaging to other facilities and contract manufacturers. 

 

You will be responsible for working with carriers to optimize service and minimize cost, including negotiating contracts, establishing operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outbound shipments, handling and dispoosition of materials and keeping warehouse inventory current, and working close with logistics manager, sales, marketing, manufacturing and finance.

 

You will need to be proficient in MS Word, Excel.  Desired skills include (SSA or SAP, APICS or Six Sigma).
