Responsibilities
The Community Outreach Supervisor (COS) supervises the Community Outreach Representatives (COR's) and is responsible for maintaining the quality and integrity of the marketing effort, as well as the increase in membership, in their designated Boroughs. The COS serves as a main contact for Managed Care education, new member orientation, and plan presentation. This is a supervisory position. A BA/BS is preferred, but will be waived for appropriate experience. The COS must have prior experience in sales/marketing in a health care environment. Basic computer literacy is required. Availability to work evening and weekend hours as required is necessary. Bilingual English/Spanish and/or other languages are preferred. Previous supervisory experience in a Medicaid Managed Care environment is highly desirable. An automobile is required, as travel is a necessary component of the position.
