Position Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Writer to join our Technical Publications team. The ideal candidate will have experience writing for multiple outputs in a single-source environment and a high proficiency with Structured FrameMaker. Knowledge of or experience in the healthcare industry a plus.

Responsibilities Include:
? Writing, editing, formatting, and maintaining user documentation for Misys products
? Following Technical Publications quality and document control procedures to ensure that user documentation requirements for products are met
? Working closely with other technical writers and with subject matter experts

Qualifications:

Experience/Education Requirements:
? Bachelors Degree in English, Communication, Technical Writing or equivalent experience with an emphasis in technical writing/technical communication.
? 2+ years experience in the technical communication field, specifically within the computer software industry.
? Proven experience researching, designing, writing, editing, and publishing user documentation in various media.
? Experience with publishing tools such as FrameMaker, Acrobat, RoboHelp, WebWorks.
? Understanding and ability to translate technical information
? Ability to function within complex technical environments, to quickly and easily assimilate new product knowledge.
? Strong initiative and personal responsibility to pursue information required to perform job, such as researching information and interviewing subject matter experts for projects.
