Technology Solutions Business Analyst

Position Summary 
The Technology Solutions Business Analyst will help gather and develop business requirements for all systems.  This position will serve as liaison between project stakeholders, branch claims offices and IT department while presenting the claims, medical management and legal staff system requirements for consideration in the design and features of the technology solutions. 


 


Job Specifics



* Develop requirements for the technology projects by providing/gathering subject matter expertise based on process workflow analysis and field experience.
* Develops and maintains strong working relationships with claim, medical management, legal staff and IT for precise representation of users in requirement definition.
* Analyze and review user interface and prototypes as technology is developed and provide constructive feedback.  Participate in usability testing of prototypes and completed user interface.
* Work with TS Project Manager or System Testing Coordinator to develop user test scripts as components are completed.
* Complete all assigned tasks according to project plan timeline.
* Attend weekly project team meetings. 
* Elevate any significant issues to the project manager.
* Review prototypes and participate in usability testing prior to development.
* Participate in user acceptance testing for new technology as well as production support fixes and enhancements.
* Assist in the development of user-training material/manuals. Assist in development of implementation plan and rollout of completed components



Experience, Skills and Education



* College graduate or equivalent work experience.
* Two years experience as a user of claims, medical management or legal claims systems.
* Experience in business requirement development for workers compensation claim or medical claim/case management system desired. 
* Experience in business process mapping desired.
* Must be analytical and detail oriented.
* Must be adept in all forms of communication.
* Strong team working skills required.
