VP Product Innovation

The Vice President, Product Innovation is primarily responsible for managing the stages that occur from the time a new product idea is generated to the launch of that particular product on the market.  The position has broad responsibility over all aspects of product design, development, testing, implementation, and enhancement to new and current products.

Managed Behavioral Health Services

Integration of Medical and Behavioral Care including Behavioral Pharmacy Management and Case and Disease Management Support

Wellness Programs including Tobacco Cessation; Weight Management; Nutrition; Stress Management; Back Pain; Health Risk Appraisals

Productivity Management Programs such as EAP/Worklife and Psychiatric Disability

 

Job Duties:

 

Participate in strategic planning to identify and define opportunities and strategies.

Pro actively and systematically identify and catalogue opportunities for new and creative products in the health and productivity field.

Identifies and analyzes competitive offerings in terms of product elements, pricing, etc.

 

Create vision for overall product and communicate vision to management and staff.

Ensure product meets business goals.

Participate in budgeting and ROI analysis for proposed products.

Prioritize development tasks and establish and oversee structured development process using a 'Stage-Gate' model or similar process.

 

Identify opportunities for pilot testing of new products with current and/or potential customers.

Oversee preparation of research designs and approvals along with operation, data collection, and analysis of information.

 

Will assist in sales and marketing presentations and in the preparation of sales materials and proposals along with operations and information technology in enhancing or modifying current products.

 

Experience:

Requires minimum of 5 years product development/management experience with proven ability to execute project plans.  Must have proven track record of developing and launching new products that have achieved success in the market.  Requires ability to think strategically about customer needs/requirements, product design and positioning.  Must have strong organizational skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to interact with all levels within an organization.
