Wound Closure Specialist
Wound Closure Specialist for the Home Care Division to be responsible for presenting therapies, which provide optimum patient outcomes through proper use of KCI USA products and services. Responsible for achieving assigned financial goals by establishing and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
** Compensation for this position will include a generous base salary; plus an attractive bonus potential.
Major responsibilities for this position include the following:
1. Provide clinical presentations, both formal and informal educational programs to account personnel
2. Develop key physician and wound care champions within region
3. Communicate and implement regional VAC? Therapy marketing plan
4. Complete requested patient rounds and respond to customer inquiries
5. Coordinate and participate in conventions, training and education center groups, vendor fairs, etc.
6. Participate in VAC? Therapy sales calls, presentations and workshops to customers and KCI USA employees, along with local sales team(s)
7. Provide financial information/analysis for customer assessment regarding cost effectiveness of therapies through the VAC? Economic Model
8. Participate in the launch, clinical trials and/or product trials of VAC products on a regional or national level
9. Serve as technical resource to region personnel with wound closure products
Minimum requirements for this position include the following:
1. Bachelors Degree required, WOCN or ET certification preferred
2. Three years experience providing clinical support for products or services in the healthcare industry, preferably related to wound care/skin care
3. Ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts, while conveying a positive service oriented attitude
4. Must have ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written format
5. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and elicit support and cooperation from coworkers
6. Must be willing to travel by commercial air service to attend scheduled business and corporate functions when
7. Intermediate level computer skills
