clinical analyst w/ Eclipsys Sunrise Clinical Manager
Position Summary: The Sr. Clinical Analyst for Clinical Information Systems will be involved in developing, maintaining and enhancing the clinical information system to meet optimal needs of clinical users. The analyst must have a clear understanding of hospital clinical operations, be able to translate users requests into appropriate clinical system functionality, and work closely with other analysts to create, implement and support order entry, result retrieval, documentation, and alerts in the hospital clinical information system. The Sr. Clinical Analyst will work as liaison between the clinical community and the Clinical Information Systems Department, assist in updating project work-plans and manage timelines for her/his projects.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrates knowledge of the organization?s Service Standards and incorporates them into the performance of duties.
2. System design and implementation
3. Testing all phases of applications
4. System implementation
5. Project coordination
6.
7. Maintain accurate documentation
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Clinical Analyst with Eclipsys Sunrise 1 and 2
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Access
Basic database understanding
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with SQL database queries and stored procedures
Prior experience with HL7
Prior experience with Eclipsys Sunrise Clinical Manager
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Position may require flexible work schedule.
