Clinical Customer Care Pharmacist (Overnight)
Walgreens Health Services is the managed care division of Walgreens providing pharmacy benefit management, home care, mail service pharmacy, and specialty pharmacy services. We have experienced aggressive growth and are currently seeking a Pharmacist for our Overnight Shift at our Clinical/Specialty Pharmacy Customer Care Center in Oklahoma City.
Pharmacist (Overnight Shift)
Responsibilities: Handles prior authorization request forms with prescribers to obtain diagnosis and treatment history information. Reviews the appropriateness of treatment based on established protocols. Communicates the results to the member, prescriber, and initiator; and performs the appropriate override in the claims processing system.
Requirements: PharmD. and/or R.Ph. licensure in Oklahoma; Retail pharmacy experience; clinical call center experience preferred but not required; Experience in case management; Excellent "people skills", oral and written communication skills; Multi-tasking.
