Clinical Pharmacist

PharmaCare, a wholly owned subsidiary of CVS Pharmacy and a leader in the Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) and Mail Service Pharmacy industries, currently has an exciting opportunity as a Clinical ACBU DUR Pharmacist.

The Clinical ACBU DUR Pharmacist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: conducting extensive reviews and evaluations of DUR Programs; performing letter adn phone interventions for DUR Programs; performing quality control checks on intervention letters; documenting communication and intervention daily in the appropriate system; participating in the evaluation and documentation of prescriber/member responses into the DUR system as a measure of intervention impact and continuous quality improvement of system criteria; creating and implementing new criteria and revising/maintaining current criteria for DUR programs; devloping policies and procedures for DUR programs on an ongoing basis; participating in informational drug manufacturer meetings; participating in internal departmental meetings; communicating cross departmentally to insure cooperation and coordination; implementing clinical initiatives related to the organization's strategic plans and participating in the development of new clinical products to support the organization's strategic plans. Additional support as required to meet the organization's business needs.

Requirements:

The qualified candidate will have the following attributes:
? Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy degree with advanced degrees optional.
? Active pharmacy licensure
? Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
? Excellent communication and team participation skills
? Strong clinical background preferred with pharmacy experience necessary in communication with physicians, pharmacists and patients on a variety of pharmaceutical care issues.
