Clinical Pharmacist - Health & Benefits

A Clinical Pharmacist supports consulting and business development efforts for the Managed Pharmacy Group within our Health & Benefits business. Our pharmacy specialists consult to all market segments including employer plan sponsors, government program sponsors, managed care organizations, the leading PBM providers in the US, and international pharmaceutical companies  To fulfill this role, the Clinical Pharmacist will:Provide clinical and strategic advice to clients regarding their pharmacy benefit program Act as clinical resource on identified business development efforts Serve as "pharmacist on staff" to clients that purchase services through a directorship or a collective purchasing organization Assist with review and continuous improvement of key processes such as vendor procurement and ROI assessment of clinical initiatives.

A bachelor's degree in pharmacy with at least five years of relevant prescriptive experience; Pharm D. designation preferred Active pharmacy license in good standing and willingness to obtain additional pharmacy licensure Strong knowledge of pharmacy benefits related to plan design and cost management Demonstrated familiarity with the pharmacy benefit manager market Superior analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal and team skills.
