Evenings: 1-11:30p, 3-11:30p, or 5:30-11:30p, M-F or days: 7a-5:30p, M-Sun

Job Description:

Review and interpret prescription information entered by Order Processing to ensure that order entered by the data entry pharmacy technicians are accurate and complete. 

Analyze drug therapies and monitor member profiles to avoid harmful drug interactions, duplication, allergic reaction, inappropriate dosage, etc. 

Route prescriptions, when necessary, to the appropriate personnel to see that changes/corrections are made. 

Assist in other Pharmacist related areas as needed. 
 

Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret prescriptions.

1-2 years experience in retail pharmacy setting preferred.

Knowledge of PBM industry/Managed care industry helpful.

Strong focus on customer service, quality, and accuracy. 

Ability to manage timelines and meet tight client deadlines.

Flexibility to adapt in a changing environment.

Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule for peak volume times. 

Education:

B.S. Pharmacy or PharmD, Arizona pharmacist license in good standing or in process of obtaining by reciprocity.
