The Clinical Staff Pharmacists enhance clinical pharmacy services and programs for hospitalized patients using a monthly rotating clinical and staffing component.  This promotes the ability of pharmacists to positively effect patient care while continuing to improve operational and organizational performance. This enables us to put patients first by reducing risks, enhancing safety, and improving the compliance and efficacy of therapeutic regimens.

Pharmacist Position

 Patient Care Services Services to Healthcare Practitioners  Cost Containment and Risk 

? Drug therapy monitoring    ? Clarify initial medication orders  ? Renal dose monitoring

?  Pharmacokinetic monitoring ? Provide drug information ? Intravenous to oral medication

? Monitor and assess renally  ? Provide medication scheduling and conversions

dosed medications administration information? Support restricted drug efficacy  

? Therapeutic interchange program 

? Independent rounding ? Provide inservice education 

? Medication event investigation

Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from a university accredited by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. Current licensure or eligible for licensure as a registered Pharmacist in the State of Ohio required.
